Recent happenings in market

This post is mostly to capture the happenings in market related to options trading as well as normal trading which have come to my notice. 

19-Sep-25: Nowadays there is a lot of talk about AI in all over the world. Its impact on IT industry is quite obvious where the stocks of IT service industry such as TCS, INFOSYS, HCLTECH etc. are hovering around their 5 year low. AI is already generating the code and even by conservative estimates a single person can perform a work earlier done by 10 people using AI. If this becomes true in next 1-2 year there might be a huge impact on IT service industry which has become one of the biggest work provider over past 2-3 decades. Even if the industry size halves (which is a very conservative estimate), impact on India consumption story will be huge.  

12-Sep-25: SEBI brought a consultation paper on CAS paper to get views from traders on the CAS mechanism. The consultation paper can be referred at SEBI CAS Consultation paper

12-Sep-25: Recently noticed a free site bananapatterns.com which provides the detail about the stocks which have broken their base or are hovering near to their base. Backtesting as provided by site for such cases in past shows good returns.
